When I was young I was shy and insecure.

But a commuter train crash changed all that. I was a passenger on a train that collided with another rush-hour train  leaving me trapped for 6-1/2 hours and 45 people dead.  A few days, a couple of surgeries and one press conference later, a photographer captured my 17-year-old face. The image went viral, making it onto

the front page of newspapers around the country, and I was temporarily thrust into the limelight.

That 15 minutes of fame shook me out of the false “comfort zone” that allowed me to hide behind the truth of who I was. It was then that I discovered that who I AM is always a work in progress, but wherever I AM in any given moment is really OK.

I bring that discovery to every photo shoot to help me SEE you…often in ways that you cannot witness yourself. I see the beauty, the strength, the complexity and the conviction behind the face you show the world. My purpose is to bring that out in your portraits.

And I am especially endeared to those who don’t yet recognize their own unique beauty.

It’s in you. Seriously.

Bringing forth your unique beauty in a fun and relaxed session is what I love to do. You’re out there rocking the world so there’s no need to panic over a photo shoot. We can do this and enjoy the process. You will love the results. I promise.
